Gandhi Peace Award Heroes

Mohandas K. Gandhi

The Gandhi Peace Award was established in 1960 by the organization, Promoting Enduring Peace (which is affiliated with the Religious Society of Friends) in honor of Mahatma Gandhi. The annual prize is given to peace heroes for their "contributions made in the promotion of international peace and good will." Below are some of the Gandhi Peace Award winners.
